fiveguitars fivedrums.
eric frey and sean patrick.
release date: aug 30. 2006.
1 track.
"From beginning to end, Fiveguitars Fivedrums is well-played, dynamically rich without resorting to drastic leaps in volume for effect, and continuously engaging. Patrick's technical skill as a percussionist is one of the major reasons why: the piece weaves in and out of sparsely arranged, echo-laden snare-and-cymbal segments and intensely rhythmic stomps with impressive finesse. Frey proves equally adept with his guitar lines, and the clean, tube sound on that guitar adds a welcome retro feel to his parts...and at seventeen minutes in length, extremely listenable as well. 7.8"
~Brooks Thomas. Celestial Biscuit.
